What is that? A holy site or a trash-pit nightmare? And where is that noise coming from? Inside my head or vibrating from the walls? Phil Wagner’s latest installation at NO attracts with dazzling, disorienting form and ensnares with its physical sensations—while invoking some of art’s biggest ideas.
To mark the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Bauhaus, the Los Angeles Forum of Architecture and Urban Design is hosting a panel discussion about the influence of Bauhaus (whether directly or obliquely) on current leading Los Angeles creatives from a number of disciplines. Participants include: Jessica Fleischmann, Andrea Lenardin Madden, Yunhee Min, and Heather Scott Peterson, with discussion moderated by Tim Durfee.
